my first tears rolled down down my face today. The death has caused me much grief. I was just sad all the way through the services. I am emotionally spent.

I'm very sorry. But it's good that you were there. Such a tragic loss is hard to deal with.
Lash it's good you could be there for the rest of the family and yourself. Tears are cathartic.
