feeling small

I feel like I am being swept away at my job. I need to start standing up for myself. It is hard for me to ask for more money and I don't know why.

I think it is written somewhere "Ask and Ye shall Receive"... The worst thing that could happen is the boss could say no! You are a valuable employee, ask for what you need and/or deserve!
