I just got back from church. I still feel that some how goð left me while I was drinking and using. I am trying to understand why he let me go thru all the things that I did. I was just a kid when a freight train hit my life, sending all the pieces of my inocence scattered about. I have been able to gather any of the pieces.

Depression??
Seems as though God isn't around?

The God I know is visible every time I step outdoors.
I see how every animal and plant has been perfectly designed to accomplish its purpose.

God hasn't left...It's just your physical chemistry gone awry.
When your brain cells have their chemistry out of whack they are depressed.....then all the inner chatter in your head is also of a depressing nature.

no matter how yucky / down / depressed you feel, you cant' trust those feelings....they are the result of an imbalance...
