Isolation

This is what my room looks like when I feel Isolated. Isolation is dangerous for an alcoholic because that is when we drank. The fear and self demoralization flood gates are left open. I don't want to be here, but it is familiar.

Ohh, I know this Funk too well. Was just there - in meetings sharing and leaving with that feeling of "all alone." It made me feel so vulnerable.

It becomes less though, it becomes only a memory and not part of the Now. As Alexis was suggesting the plan of action. Keep putting it out there, give it less power.

Emtpy room.
Full room.
It doesn't matter.
When I isolate, it is within.me What is around me does not matter. That is why isolation can be so selfish.

This conjures up a very sad feeling in me. Been there, done that, will most likely repeat.
