pray to god

When I was drinking I knew god wasn't there for me. Why would god not help a person like me and why did I suffer as well as all the people around me. I do not know the answers to this, but I do know that god was there and I was not. Now things are going good in my life because of god and the program. It is simple as, if I believe in both as much as I can then the odds are that I will be sober tomorrow.

Speaking only for myself (of course) I think God was always there for me. That is evidenced by the fact that I'm still alive.
Enjoy this day because it won't happen again.

What amazes me is that I am here. God was in my children, who told me I needed to do this. Now God is in the rooms and at the tables.

in my early days in the rooms someone told me that God never walked away from me like I did from God

I love how faithful you are--

God does not give up on us, it is us that give up on him. God's Grace is why many of us are still here. What a blessing. May we use it to help others.
