My Life
Smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee has now become an essential staple in my life. I need to drop the smoking part as soon as possible. They are now banning smoking at any public park or the beaches in the city I live. This to me is the final straw. I just hate having to quit something that is addictive when I am forced.

I really shouldn't comment on this one because as I type I am having my morning coffee which is always accompanied by cigarettes.
We have the public park ban which they really do not enforce. No beach one yet but let me tell you I have the feeling they will be carting me off in handcuffs if that happens.
I'm not a dumb person - I know it is bad for me but fuck I just don't want to stop right now.
I see you,
JJ
Smoking has been very very very good for recovering alcoholics over the years. We all know it is not good for us, but it is not on the same scale as booze if we are alcoholics. Don't be too hard on yourself.
I read once that most alcoholics don’t die directly from drinking but from cancer due to smoking. I am not sure if that is true or not.
I am 15 days without a chew and it was almost harder than quiting drinking....but it feels great now!
it was one year smoke free for me on oct. 19th..... i smoked 2 packs a day..... i saved $3381.20 in that year.... that's $1100.00 a kid.... you could do something really nice for each one or put it away for college.....good luck....the first week was the hardest...make it thru that and your golden.....dbv
